When the Wise Man Points at the Moon, the Idiot Looks at the Finger ― Confucius.
Lately, this saying attributed to Confucius is often on my mind. We seem to be in a global moment of looking at fingers, and often giving the finger to those who are inquisitive about bigger ideas, larger spaces and the universe where we are just insignificant dust.
So, as I was looking at what I had in my "artist's bag" I found a squirrel hand, the lumbosacral vertebrae of a deer, a piece of juniper tree branch cut in roundel, and a nicely blue turquoise stone.

I thought this small patchwork I put together represented both points of view in today's world.
