Door Stops: Why Use A Rubber Wedge?
I wanted something with character to keep my doors open
during the windy season. Indeed, winds can gust at 30 miles an hour during
summer evenings.
So, here are a couple of examples of very functional
and conversation-piece door stops. The materials I use are rocks, old hardware,
wood, leather and feathers.
This one is an “alligator bird” – a new species that
took shape as I was exploring the natural shape of the wood.
And here is proud bird – I have no idea what kind of
bird it is, but sure is happy to be a door stop!!!
